I just noticed that the double page spread with the "god of death" is in the wrong order, so instead of 死神 it reads 神死. I guess that's just one of the oddities with the japanese writing order thats hard to notice normally.

This is ome of those rakugo stories that I have seen a video of it being performed. This manga, despite being just pictures and text, manages to transmit the same feeling and "aura" as the real performance, that's really damn impressive. I would say it requires a different skillset than real...

I like how even while Kikuri has to try to tolerate the ghosts, the ghosts also have to try to tolerate Kikuri.
