    Lily System

This series pretty much lives and dies on its art. Worth reading for that alone, but there isn't really much else to offer beyond a surprisingly decent ending. Would recommend.

    Roid

There's some neat stuff going on here, but it feels like the series is unwilling to go into any of it with actual depth. The whole thing is rushed and ultimately unsatisfying, but there's still some neat stuff in there. Characters aren't really given room to breathe, which is a shame. Despite...

    Tonari no Robot

This is a sweet little story with a robot protagonist that really feels like a robot. There isn't much depth beyond the initial premise and a lot of it feels like treading water, but it's neat enough to be worth reading despite a very rushed and kinda lackluster ending. The main couple is also...

"Omae Gotoki ga Maou ni Kateru to Omouna" to Yuusha Party wo Tsuihou sareta node, Outo de Kimama ni Kurashitai the Comic

Man, I really WANT to like this series. There's some cool stuff going on in it, and some elements show real promise. But lord have mercy, the main couple is so bland and uninteresting that I could not bring myself to care about any of it. I almost never drop series, even ones I dislike, but I...

    Warikitta Kankei desukara.

God, I HATED this series. For something that's supposed to be about a toxic couple using each other, it's pretty much entirely one-sided and makes the protagonist look more like a punching bag than anything else. They don't do anything with the age gap (would have loved to see it explored more...

    Himegami no Miko

And so the OGs return for yet another go-round. A lot of this feels like an apology for how GODAWFUL their previous and thankfully canceled outing in Amnesian was, and all I can say is...apology accepted. There's obviously plenty of trials and tribulations in this story, but there are a few...

    Minazuki ni Shisu

I get what it's going for and when it hits it hits hard, but it meanders a bit too much for it to have any real staying power. It's the kind of series I wish I could recommend, but ultimately came away from it fairly dissatisfied. Wouldn't recommend, unfortunately.

    Hana to Uso to Makoto

Nothing like a yuri that makes me want to jump in front of a bus. 7/10 would cry myself to sleep again.

Sister and Giant: A Young Lady Is Reborn in Another World

I'm not normally an isekai person, but this series sold me on it. Hinako is an intriguing and morally complex protagonist, and Elis is...oh, she's just great. What a sweetheart. And so TALL!!!!!! Big win for appreciators of giant girls. I really hope it continues soon, because I want to see...

    Dark Forest, White Road

Don't waste your time with this one. This series is where character development goes to die. A promising start gives way to a finale that wants so badly to be profound and fails completely at it. Wouldn't recommend.

    Satanophany

Ah, Satanophany. I wish I knew how to quit you. Irredeemable garbage filled with so much sexual assault and general grossness that it made me sick to my stomach, and a plot so stupid it feels like a comedy. And yet...I keep reading it. It's a train wreck I can't look away from, and that's 99%...

    Aido

I hate this series so much it's unreal. Solid first chapters marred by a truly horrendous finale that couldn't be more misogynistic if it tried (and was certainly homophobic enough to get some anti-brownie points there too). Avoid at all costs. If you really need something messy, read Gunjo...

    Moonlight Flowers

An incredible series that was extremely ahead of its time for 1989. The art is great (and so 80s!!!) and the characters are...oh MAN, they're amazing. As far as I'm concerned, this is a must-read not just for yuri fans but for fans of LGBT manga in general. Terrific work.

    Marriage Black

A mess, but an enjoyable one. The love interest was evil in a fun way and was enough to keep me entertained for its short runtime. Wouldn't recommend unless you're starved for yuri content.

    Goodbye, My Rose Garden

Incredible from start to finish. Great characters, great chemistry, great story, great setting, and filled to the brim with emotional moments that nearly brought me to tears. An excellent and realistic period piece about homosexuality in early 20th century England with a core of genuine heart...

    Mahou Shoujo Tokushuusen Asuka

This series really nails that "so bad it's good" vibe in a way that's always a mess but rarely boring. I can't imagine taking it seriously, but taking it as a parody of darker and edgier magical girl series provides a great time. The yuri was pretty solid as well, with Kurumi as the real...

    Vampeerz

A damn solid yuri series! Didn't quite end up going where I expected. It's got a few pacing issues and some stuff that feels a bit half-baked but those are overall minor complaints. I liked this manga! I would give it one thumb up and recommend it to most yuri fans.

    Gunbured × Sisters

It's a damn shame when you can tell a series got canceled early and didn't have time to cover the full story. Good stuff until the last arc tho.

    Murciélago

Hands down the best yuri manga of all time. Exciting, hilarious, disturbing, thrilling, sexy, well-drawn, an amazing cast and a protagonist to die for...Murcielago has it all. It's a damn shame that the english translation cuts off as early as it does. I'd highly recommend buying the series...

    Happy Sugar Life

A heartbreaking story about the ways trauma is passed from generation to generation and how attempting to escape from that cycle can inadvertently lead to perpetuating it. Satou Matsuzaka is an incredible protagonist. I'm not normally a fan of the "yandere" trope, but I think it worked here...
