    This is the worst kind of backtracking and pointless melodrama. I’m really disappointed in the author for pulling this stunt. It’s one thing for her to have insecurities. It’s something else entirely to have her just act out of character to manufacture conflict.

    Mizono let’s her ask for anything and she wants a date. Asuna is such a precious cinnamon roll! I think it’s because there was this frantic uncertainty to their relationship before. Now that they’re proper girlfriends, they can take their time.

    My guess was translation artifact. Japanese doesn’t require you to specify gender as often as English, so those pronouns could have been introduced by the translator.
