Are they even wuxia? They are mostly cultivation stories, right? In xianxia or weirder settings. The modern stuff that can be called wuxia are unfortunately put more emphasis on court politics and romance. Honestly Korean murim novels and manhwas are closer to the old Hong Kong stuff.
