@Red225 So far it’s been implied that he is pretty sure Niti is his son, but he can’t confront Karinne about it until he gets solid evidence.

I absolutely adore Aoi, but I think he may be mixing up maternal love and romantic love a bit. Shiharu was the only motherly figure in his life, other than his grandmother (with whom he made that distinction). But poor little dude deserves the world. I can't help but feel sorry for him.
