@dragoonstorm7 It’s entire book 2 (for reference, manga Ch.1-27 is book 1), but it does setup and has Interestingly the manga started the setup much earlier compared to the novel.

The manga has been doing an insanely good job adapting the novel so far, except which isn't in the novel... wonder why the change, might be that Japan loves it 🤔 even tho the international audience mostly despise it. As of the last chapter in 2020 (Chapter 27), it has finished adapting novel...

End of Book 1! And the beginning of the This chapter is released in 2 parts like Chapter 9, but I'll be combining them and deleting this in the near future.

@Hoves oooh? Care to elaborate? Which character/panel in particular? The manga character designs are still based on the designs by the novel illustrator Atikix. The novel color illustrations are definitely incredible* but the insert art is just alright in comparison.

@lab000 the manga adapts 1-2 novel chapters per chapter, it’s actually fairly speedy with little to no omission... also it’s a fortnightly series (every two weeks) so IMO the pacing is fine. It’s just that the scanlation is slow.. And yeah... been months since last novel chapter.. the manga...
