I don't know if I'd say for certain that my OTP in this series is Renako x Satsuki, but I will at least say that Satsuki is far and away the easiest character in this series to root for, just in general. Like she's the one whose long-term happiness I am most invested in.
It's fine, and it's not for no reason. The strong implication (go reread chapters 131 and 147) is that she's going to university to learn how to better help Chiya manage AmaUsa. Honestly, if anything, the existence of Chiya should be more concerning to a RizexSyaro shipper than anything else.
I've become kind of fascinated with how Namori-sensei juxtaposes YuiKyou and KyouAya. KyouAya gets entire chapters dedicated to it every once in a while; YuiKyou gets smaller moments sprinkled in far more frequently (while almost never getting full chapters). I guess which one appeals more to...
If Shamiko gets any more advanced with that rod, she's basically going to be playing one of those "build your own waifu" games with Momo. I'm here for it.
I feel like, in hindsight, it took me a pretty long time to decide whether or not I like Misaki, but she is gradually becoming one of the most endearing characters in the entire YuruYuri 'verse, in my personal opinion.
Well, that's what her Pokemon pets are for. Send out Orin and have her do the beating up.
Or Okuu, depending on how low of a priority Kyouko's continued existence is.
Toshino Kyouko -branded bloomers incoming. Get on it Ichijinsha. You might not be able to sell a thousand of them for ¥100 a pop, but you can probably find ten miserable suckers who'll buy them at ¥10000 a pop.
These last few chapters, shorty's starting to give me real "If I can't have her, no one can" vibes. Is this gonna turn into that sort of series? I'm not NOT down, but that's not what I signed up for.
On a related note, I love how nobody in the comment section here can be bothered to remember...
That’s really not fair to call that whole span a single arc, though. It's not like they were dealing with shrine stuff every chapter between 11 and 39.
This series has actually been following a pretty tight pattern, you know. Miko meets a creepy new person and initially sees them as an...
I've been enjoying this arc, by and large, but I am ready for it to start wrapping up. What has me worried is that it sort of seems like it's not going to be wrapping up anytime soon. I could see this outstaying its welcome.
It's nice seeing a chapter with two of Nadeshiko's "friends" hanging out without her. I think it could add a lot of spice to the whole "who is Nadeshiko's girlfriend?" angle if the dynamics amongst the three of them were more fleshed out.
Also, Team Ai, personally.
This "race arc" has honestly been such a low-point for the whole series. I dunno what possessed the mangaka to suddenly start writing Kase -- who imo had always been a really likeable character up until recently -- like such a giant idiot douchebag.
I enjoy magical lesbian sex fights as much as anyone, but honestly I’m all for it if we wanna take a little break from that and just get more chapters of the main trio being a cute little family.
