Why handgun? isn't it better for close range some shotgun or even SMG? or is he looking for some short range weapon while holding his rifle? Then he could just use underbarrel attached knife for that reason and in constant closed space just shotgun/smg.

Thanks for the chapter. Chapters feels incredible long, really unusual since most mangas got so short chapters with almost no progress in story that you can read them like in 1 minute. So it is kinda refreshing to actually spend time to read chapter.

I think she meant at the start when she was nobody. And after that she didn't cares/noticed that people started to be more open to her OR they started to keep distance from her because of fear.
