ngl, Konomi lost a few points for me this chapter and she didn't have many to begin with. What stupid reason to vote for Ren. Well, whatever. The ending of the chapter isn't even a cliff hanger. We all know Yakumo is gonna vote with her 🐱.

Soooooooooo..... Author-san knows that this manga has to have a throuple ending, right? I mean, she keeps hinting at it. She's not gonna pull a 'Shingeki no Kyojin', right? She's not gonna torpedo the entire story at the last second with some shitty ending where they all just stay friends...

I swear to god almighty, as soon as it was clear that Keisuke wasn't going to be the beast, the very next thought I had was: "Wouldn't it be funny if they made Hebikawa the beast? But nah, she's a girl." Then literally one page later. Keisuke: "Ah! Why not just pick a girl instead?" Jesus...

For anyone who's not aware, the reason other posters are calling Hebikawa a snake is because 'hebi' literally means 'snake' in Japanese. Foreshadowing. Aside from that, not sure what the intent of this chapter was. Does the author want me to sympathize with her or dislike her even more...
