Yeah the casual fans of the series really only care about Guts swinging his sword and killing shit. They are incapable of opening up to anything that is beyond that.

I haven’t read the light novel of this story but I feel the mangaka has done a pretty good job adapting the characters into the manga cause I knew exactly what Shimamura would say the moment she met up with Adachi. It seems I’ve come to know both of these characters well enough at this point.
