The three big ones I believe are marshmallows for "I hate you", cookies for "Let's be friends", and hard candies for "I like you". It seems to be related to how long they last in your mouth. Marshmallow's melt quickly, cookies are dry, and candy lasts a long time.

The two guys are from Policewoman and Assassin, so I'm assuming the other two characters are also from this author's other series.

Oki in this case refers to okiwaza. The more common use of oki in the fgc is probably for okizeme, which is pressuring the opponent as they're getting up from a knockdown. And I'd say that zoning probably falls under okiwaza more than sashi-gaeshi. That's more like waiting for a whiff punish.

Those are some pretty end-game looking and sounding spells for just being medium level magic.

The obvious answer is siblings with a mix and match of their traits.
