I guessed he was alive because they never said “dead” the whole time and just tip-toed around that topic, but holy shit that return came out of nowhere. I thought at least there’s be some buildup to his return. I like it!

I like that there's humor on both sides of the field, not just with our protags Seiseki. It keeps the feeling that it's a game between a bunch of high school kids (even though they look like they're in college).
Prediction time:
