Yeah, it's not a bridge, but looking at the perspective from last chapter, this still looks like a concrete flight of about 20 stairs, at least. A full grown adult falling all the way down would be dangerous. For a child? This fall could be crippling if not lethal.
Wait, so the ladymaid that looked after her every day was constantly writing to the king, attempting to ease his concerns over his daughter's feelings towards him, but never once informed her about her father's feelings towards her?
They really went the entire thing without her ever revealing to him that she can read his and everyone else's minds. At least the relationship is cute, if not incredibly unbalanced.
There's only so far you can stretch things for the sake of plot convenience. What reasonable person says, "I was knocked out and my memory was altered without my consent, but I'm ok with that and still fully trust that doctor I know nothing about?"
I swear this teacher has been the worst addition to this series. It was really fun and sweet until she arrived. Ever since, it's been a really tedious and annoying plot full of unnecessary chores.
So, while he was certainly touching closer to the heart of the one, he's was definitely touching the opposite side on the other. he totally could've just touched their backs and had the same distance and effect.
So cool of the dad to not let his son meet the woman he's dating before adding her and her daughters to the family. What a great guy. I wish only good things and no truck-kun upon him.
