The prose of the tl are a bit too rigid, some contractions and shortening syntax here and there would be better.

This was quite the lazy way to have her betray him. We all knew it was going to happen because they never let the MC just break it off but still, this was quite a jump.

@Terrate It's not to do with his age there. He's basically mimicking the effects of having the thunder skill on him and pretty much overloading his body to fight. Even as a younger him he'd still have to cast restoration after each burst of activity.

@MrMcNasty I think in their case it's just that the feelings and things he can look at and explain rationally fit her condition. A proper education in these things would allow you to diagnose and help lots of different kinds of people but Yokoi really just has sage wisdom where she is concerned...
