The scarier thing is that they may be getting stronger because of interactions with him. He actively visits them, giving them worship in a sense.

Honestly, it makes sense when you consider how this world is built. The demon races are immortal to time. Only major injury or disease kills them. Over half of the people, except for the humans, currently living in Orcsen may have been alive since the medieval age, so they kept their values in turn.

It helps that the MC was actively changing/adapting to try and get a hit, rather than the bottom line of, "just hit harder," or some slight variation of that.

So, not only is this party the genuine article, they are also pretty damn competent. That's just cool.
