Ohh yeah def. Just cause the chemistry's good doesn't mean build up isn't needed. Could still expect a lot more development for everyone, even between the MC and "MC"
This manga really doesn't take away the tactics, the fighting styles, plannings, politics, etc. The writing is seriously top tier and it isn't all just served up on the silver platter for us nor the MC.
And when the fighting comes in, even if the MC is op, it carries some HEAVY weight into it...
As much as I love kawashima, I actually hope Kawashima would win the guy, and the MC would go for the other instead. Like, don't get me wrong, they're both cute. But
1. It somehow felt a lot more refereshing and natural between MC and the "fiance"
2. Would be nice to see the MC and FMC doesn't...
AHHH, It hurts knowing the juniors wont know the seniors like they do. Though, it's nice seeing a college arc for Chinatsu and potentially Haryu as well. Hopefully it will be the same for Taiki once highschool is finished
