I bet he said:
If I win, I want to end this "I love you" game
Basically, a title drop (or similar).
It seems to me to be the best possible thing the author could have him say especially given all the secrecy.
NOTE: this post might contain some ultra light meta spoilers. In general shouldn't really affect the experience.
P.S. I don't know why I wrote this. Perhaps I just wanted to waste time.
I would like to remind everyone that this series is an adaptation of the novel "Wife Please be Obedient". It only has MTL available after chapter 19, but hey, better than nothing.
I used to preach everywhere that this series is progress incarnate.
And there's still so much more, in terms of progress, to come. And it's all quick.
I know somebody said it was not memorable, but honestly I don't think so.
This basically has so many story beats that I enjoy in other...

Now, it may not be her proposing though. I think he saw her serving miso in his delusion so she just went with miso in the real world.
Ah, we're already here. If you've read the LN, you know it's time for the most stupid and cringe writing ever (when it comes to situations like this). I wish they just skipped this "arc" altogether, but alas.
As I said in my previous comment (right above this one), we can just assume that it's the same timeline and events just un-unfolded/time turned back.
Edit:
And I'll add that since it's fiction, the same daughter (genetic makeup) will be born again.
I'm just gonna go with the idea that there is no such thing as an different timelines in this universe and everything just went back in past, everything that has happened (including the daughter) just unhappened in the same "timeline" rather than creation of a different "timeline".
This could...
