@Anrhaa Rather than adopted it seems more like Hades might have been reincarnated as Twilights actual brother, while Hades and Poseidon were originally brothers as gods. Poseidon might be adopted or possibly treated as extended family due to his conection with Hades.

Judging by this chapter I would assume it to be a sequel series, since it kinda seem like it assumes you already know all the characters. Still likely should have it's own page, at least if it goes on for longer than a volume.

The supernatural part I don't find one bit surprising, if anything it was too obvious from the way the author had been foreshadowing it, though I'm not sure how I felt about that. Aside for that it is a pretty unsatisfying ending, felt like the author didn't want to commit to actually tying up...

@Teney Not really, her actual title isn't gender specific and is still translated as emperor because empress in this context specifically means the wife of an emperor.
