    Make Heroine ga Oosugiru! @comic

Don't worry about their opinion, their emphasis on framing people who don't agree with them as "simple" gives away the fact that their arguments are built on castles of sand.

Kusunoki-san wa Koukou Debut ni Shippai Shite Iru - Vol. 6 Ch. 39 - I just... I don’t want to deny who I am

Hebikawa continues to be the main factor that makes this story interesting. A+ Character. She's in the difficult situation of needing to change her perspective, but considering that she's being exploited by her step-father, the downside of realising "my worldview of wrong" is potentially...

    Kyou mo Veranda de - Vol. 5 Ch. 62 - For Neighbor-san... ❤

Pffft... Miyoshi is great. Easily the most put-together person in the entire manga.

Watashi ga Motenai no wa Dou Kangaetemo Omaera ga Warui! - Vol. 27 Ch. 230.5 - Special chapter

Very nostalgic feeling chapter. Taking fish hooks out of animals is hard to deal with. Eh... Given that Asuka and Tomoko had a big arc establishing the nature of their relationship, I'd disagree. It's more that they have an assymetrical dynamic than a gap.

Kyou mo Veranda de - Vol. 5 Ch. 61 - One Back at Home...

I really enjoy this series' straight-up slice-of-life chapters.

Osananajimi wo Erabenai! - Vol. 2 Ch. 10 - And That's Exactly Why

The term "self love" does not refer to romantic love, which is the context being discussed here. Romantic self-love is obviously self-destructive. And for what it's worth: the term "self love" exists primarily as an empty signifier with no specific meaning other than as a positive framing...

Osananajimi wo Erabenai! - Vol. 2 Ch. 10 - And That's Exactly Why

"Falling in love with yourself", aka developing a romantic desire/affection for yourself, is not good mental health.

Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi o Suru - Vol. 15 Ch. 115

I'm fascinated that there are still people defending this with "It's not a romance story, it's a cosplay story!" when: A) The title refers to both romance and cosplay equally. B) The final chapter was focused entirely on romance. C) The quality of the cosplay-focus dipped just as much as the...

Kusunoki-san wa Koukou Debut ni Shippai Shite Iru - Vol. 6 Ch. 38 - Turns out, Kusunoki is really that beautiful

This is an odd rebuttal. "She's never faced consequences from it" would be a legitimate criticism only if her redemption arc was supposed to be over. With that said, her stepfather being able to prey upon her due to her twisted worldview is indeed a consequence of her having that worldview...

Kusunoki-san wa Koukou Debut ni Shippai Shite Iru - Vol. 6 Ch. 38 - Turns out, Kusunoki is really that beautiful

Hebikawa - a child who is being taken advantage of by her stepfather - has an arc that is built around breaking her belief that everyone around her is secretly a scumbag. There have been entire chapters dedicated to explictly highlighting "this is what Hebikawa's arc is about".

Kyou mo Veranda de - Vol. 5 Ch. 59 - Neighbor-san Is Unavailable

Yeah it's a bit weird. People here are reading a goofy sitcom story but are thinking about it like it's real life.

Kakkoii Onnanoko to 12-centi no Yakusoku - Ch. 32 - Please Give Me Some Time

This plot has become very uninteresting. Akari has instantly become the most interesting character in the story solely because it's interesting to see characters want and try to achieve something, and the others are kind of listless in comparison.

    Mieruko-chan - Vol. 12 Ch. 64

Great chapter. -- I wonder if the talk of chrysalis was forshadowing. Like...Michiru and/or Pii-Chan are going to come back, but they'll be changed somehow. Or alternatively, Pii-Chan is sick, not dead, but will need to be returned to the forest in order to survive. -- The life...

    Kyou mo Veranda de - Vol. 5 Ch. 56 - A Son’s Confession and a Mother’s Love

The manager isn't a random damsel who doesn't know what she's doing. She knows what the entertainment industry is like and she recognizes that what she was being told was correct. Narumi is a rising star, not an established one.

    Kyou mo Veranda de - Vol. 5 Ch. 56 - A Son’s Confession and a Mother’s Love

FMC is not holding a lot of influence right now. That's why the guy talked about "firmly establishing her fame" - she's currently still vulnerable to being a flash-in-the-pan celebrity.

    My Dress-Up Darling - Ch. 114

....Basically everything after the student festival arc ended up being pointless filler. I've been down on this comic for quite some time; however, I really enjoyed the two chapters where they got together, and thought that the comic might improve. Instead, the writing declined back to its usual...

    Spider-Man: Octopus-Girl - Ch. 32 - Takoyaki

I don't think so. Marvel doesn't have an official wiki and I've not read anything in Doc Ock's history that acknowledges this story. I'd say the chances of it being acknowledged as part of Doc's 616 canon are slim - Marvel tends to publish all of their major storylines in books that get released...

    Spider-Man: Octopus-Girl - Ch. 32 - Takoyaki

This was good. I wonder if Marvel will ask the author to do a work in one of their major universes (e.g., 616, Ultimate) eventually.

Kakkoii Onnanoko to 12-centi no Yakusoku - Vol. 3 Ch. 29 - Skipping Class

This was fun. Genuinely don't get the whole "artificial drama" complaints when the amount of drama is so frigging light it could be suspended on a paper tissue.

    Mieruko-chan - Vol. 12 Ch. 62

The Yabai is the worst part. Instead of translating and localizing, you've instead chosen to editorialize for your own amusement, and as a result you undermined what is supposed to be a dramatic moment in the chapter.
