I can't believe it's already the end of an era. Life won't be the same without the daily updates that have indulgently spoiled me for the past year+.

THE KING IS BACK, BABYYY!

I'm torn, but my heart goes out to Fujii. Maybe it was wrong to put it all on the line in the final, but the kid put on his best and bravest performance and he was rewarded with everyone on his team giving up on him except for Kano. It's also so hypocritical of DL to give up on Fujii when they...

I was NOT expecting Lycuire to get instakilled right after getting his revenge. The visceral art of seeing him get ripped in half was metal as hell, but still, RIP to the best broomhead.

I know DL are playing for fun and letting their teammates have happy memories of playing in the final, but this would have been the perfect time to switch out the whole battery.

These last few chapters were so insightful, comedic in timing, and evocative. Despite my disfavor, It's cool that Marui finally understood what it meant to have fun and taught that lesson to the future captains.

Hariu is so cool. The guy plays baseball, basketball, and now he plays golf.

I didn't read any of volume 5 until now, and the week I started reading this series again, this scanlation drops. Thanks so much for this chapter and your work so far.

This one really hurt my heart to read. It's only 16 chapters in, but this series is so raw and unfiltered in how it shows war. I love the grim, brutal reality, but man does it hit you in the feels.

My hate for Marui is stale but ongoing. Of course the team would have fun after an 18-0 lead with the 3rd string catcher stepping in to face a mentally decimated opponent. As an improbable detail from the author's writing, the plot had to do some gymnastics for the team to have made it around...

I've thought deeply and frequently about Kito and his situation, and I find my feelings align closely with Hinoki's take. I very much understand Kito's circumstances and his growth and I empathize with the upbringing that led to the actions he took for freedom, but the repercussions propagated...

For my fellow illiterate dummies, I'm assuming the 5 characters are ありがとう = thank you

Loving Hariu and Kano being on the same wavelength and the wholesome camaraderie before the bloodbath.

100% would rather take a yandere personality shift over a bullying arc.

My prejudice, but sometimes I want to slap Marui. The question is loyalty to the teammates or loyalty to the team and he's wavering like always and somehow even makes it sound like he'd consider outing the whole thing. It's great that Kano was able to grow as a player with the burden of captain...

Abiru is easily my top 3 favorite characters of this series. Guy goes so hard but his heart's always in the right place.

For chapter 1: good art, good world building, good plot pacing, and genderbender reincarnation. 11/10, no idea why I had this bookmarked but I'm all for this.

It would be really hype if Gunwoo stepped on the mound to end the losing streak in extra innings, but the risk of injury as a pitcher might go against his goal of staying healthy.

Spring Kano built up like a gorilla. If Kadomatsu didn't power up as well, Kano might take 4th batter away from him.

Honestly, bless this backlog, and even more so, thank you for the mass release. This series is getting so cool after the hiatus.
