It's a shame this is over so soon; I really like Holiday Yasumi's style and the setting is more robust than other TS series I've read. Still, what we got was quite good, and I'm looking forward to any bonuses the volume release happens to come with. Thanks for all the translations!

Regarding the konpeito thing: I think the goal was to cute-ify her "bullying" into not being 100% bullying, so I probably would've replaced konpeito with Lego as "a thing which hurts to step on." ... Unless, of course, kids have actually moved onto konpeito from tacks for actual bullying, since...

The octopus TV was pretty cute. The whole chapter was cute too, but the TV in particular.

I always find this author's afterwords oddly resonant. I'd get off night-shift in the spring, walk outside, and get hit with warmth + brightness I wasn't expecting. Plus the pollen!

This was really fun while it lasted. Teriyama clearly had more plans for the series, but I know some sort of Boka ga Koisuru Eichi is never going to happen. Here's to hoping for some omake chapters or doujins or something. Thanks for all the translations sufficieintbluejay :salute:

Given the way Star associates the goddess with Cosmic Stars, I'm wondering how much more lore Heriyama has in his back pocket for this series. Lore we're (very probably) never going to see...

Oh, that's Kumagorou (probably) on the cover of volume 3! Most festival prizes are never seen again -- let alone become a character in the manga -- so I didn't think much when Akari won him in chapter 16. This manga just keeps getting better and better.

Still, I liked that the resolution was Oga going "wow, I've been super-rude this whole time," instead of them jumping straight into dating. I didn't expect them to go...

I think the dish Haruko made is probably supposed to be [Braised Pork (Belly)], not [Pork Stew]. I don't know what the original text is, but a quick mind-meld with Google suggests it could be 角煮 and the pictures match. Braising and stewing are somewhat similar cooking methods and I'm guessing...

There's no translation note, but the kanji [友] on Akari's shirt is -- unsurprisingly -- "friend." I was surprised to see Non-chan needs stringing; I had just assumed supernatural energy kept her together and her ability to detach her head was a ghost-feature. The diagram was a nice touch. It...

I was expecting the power-dynamic to be more "I gotta work hard to measure up to Pure Sunflower," but tank + glass-cannon is even better. I think the Volume 3 cover really gives a good idea of what to expect. I only now realized that her name is Violet as in the flower, not the color. Sure...

This chapter reminded me of this Sushi Gaki omake. It works a little better there, and sushi <-> suki is also easier for foreigners to grok.
