Pretty good. The concept is nice, but its definitely cut short.

This is a refreshingly novel taste of fantasy. A series that actually, really, has a smaller scale protagonist that doesn't immediately become the best to ever do it. Maybe it's the translation, but its pretty hard to follow details at some points, the dialogue gets confusing at times.

I kinda wish it was just a single gold coin, like some youtuber style "I made 1,000 out of 1" stuff would go hard with fantasy economics, but maybe I just need to read spice and wolf again. Or run an OSR game. I like how information isn't revealed immediately as set dressing, it needs to be earned.

One of the best I've read in recent times. The homages to real-world speedrunning really freshen up the formula.
