That's what the last line about. Difficult jobs are the way they are, but someone has to do them. What's more important is finding a direction, and being aware of what you're jumping into.

It does feel like the author had a bunch of smaller ideas, but didn't have enough to stretch each out to a full chapter. That being said, we got to tie up the goddess stones plot point, and bring back some characters who we haven't seen for a while.
