1. This map looks nothing like Europe. Just having 3 countries next to each other giving that impression is wild. Obviously Touri & Co.'s gear is clearly German inspired, but that is true for like 90% of manga militaries, so it doesn't help much in narrowing it down. Hell, you could pretty convincingly make an argument that the map is an enlarged version of southern italy (with the UK being Sicily, and the other 3 the bottom of the boot) or just about 200 other geographical regions.I just now noticed, having looked at the map, but I think we are in an East-West mirrored Europe, with the empire being Germany, the federation being Russia and the republic being France with these minor countries being the lowlands and the UK being... . So my intuition is telling me that things are about to get a whole lot worse for us.
You could remove the isekai part, rewrite few lines and the overall story and character wouldn't change. Though, it is easier for the author and the reader to view things from a modern angle, which then by necessity requires an isekai. Could skip the TS, no need to copy Youjo Senki, where the premise makes it more hilarious.I felt like this part is expanded from the novel, other than that looking back now the fact that this is still arc 1 / 10 is wow, because the novel reader usually doesn't put first arc in their top 5 arc for this series. I hope the next scene is also expanded upon like few chapter in this volume. If they end the manga without finishing it i prefer to axe it in the end of arc 2 or arc 4 or arc 6 but hopefully not and the series become popular enough.
So please if any publisher, author, producer for the anime seeing this properly censor the sexual abuse scene and preferably use the LN design with MC wearing normal pants also they could not include the TS part because the author write it for fetish only then abandon it to write better and serious story (I like TS, but i prefer the series become more popular)
Don't discount how much more accessible the isekai part makes stories like this to certain people. I have a friend who doesn't watch or read fantasy stories but is fine with isekai. You could remove the isekai part, rewrite few lines and the overall story and character wouldn't change. The author admitted to watching Youjo Senki, and started writing with it in mind. Except they didn't really have a plan for this first arc, so it quickly falls to the wayside to focus on the Touri's path through the conflict. You could remove the isekai part, rewrite few lines and the overall story and character wouldn't change. 1. No, it's pretty much mirrored Europe. Framaille is France-inspired, and Eilis is more UK-inspired. It becomes more evident as the events unfold. There are even some neighboring countries that are inspired by Poland.1. This map looks nothing like Europe. Just having 3 countries next to each other giving that impression is wild. 2. The Sabbath Federation is clearly North-African inspired (at the most I could MAYBE see the ottomans in them, but even that it a stretch)
What part of isekai and TS are even relevant anymore?
