Just curious to see if I missed any glorious "Wtf Japan" series hahaha.

Any series which you thought had an unappealing cover and/or description, but turned out great... Or any with great-looking covers and premises that left you disappointed. For me, the first example I can think of is a recent one: "Why are you doing this, my Duke?" seemed cheesy and clichéd, but...

I'll leave the definition of "best" up to you, it can be either a series or a oneshot. In my case it's a tough choice, but I might go with Dengeki Daisy!

Probably a shoujo, I remember reading it some years ago on another site, but I just can't recall the name. It was the story of a painter and his muse, a young blind girl, who fall in love with each other... Probably completed, with not too many chapters; it would be nice to find it again!
