I don’t think she’s being unreasonable, though. Whoever is doing this is presumably as powerful or more powerful than the demon king, which significantly narrows down the candidates. I’m more surprised that she concluded the culprit must be a living person, and not some sort of phantom or spirit.

Did the second half of this chapter feel really weird to anyone else? The whole confession scene feels rushed and has so much dialogue, a lot of which felt completely out-of-character. Maybe I’m misremembering, but I thought this manga usually did a decent job conveying information through...

I dunno… Part of the problem here is the power dynamic. Shaoying doesn’t want to be completely dependent on Yanchu and wants to date her as an equal. If Bixing Hall just buys out Fairyland, Shaoying will effectively become her girlfriend’s employee.
