The map was already drawn beforehand, they're just meant to fill in where monsters are. The scale would always be the same, though he could see further and had to limit the scope. His concern was how to count each one, list the species, and keep track of it all. Given there's at least 800...

It wasn't a sword, it was the same stick he used to beat the maid, and it's likely the same kind of beating is what he tried to do. Still messed up, but you are assuming a lot more than the story implies.

He only seemed to try to beat her, like he was beating the maid when the MC took over. Hence the stick. It's still messed up, but a lot easier to forgive, especially since she's likely been looking into his recent actions after the news story which would show a complete change in behavior.

I feel like the queen was more angry that her husband cheated at all than it being with a commoner. But I guess we might see if that plot point ever comes up.

She said one line to an animal as a test, which is the first bubble in the flashback. But the "just leave me alone" was something he said in reply when he barely heard someone else near him. But he was almost fully unconscious at the time, so no telling if he'd actually remember that part.

Usually I'd agree, but he turned into a swarm of bats in the dead of night and flew away, not really easy to track unless you can do the same. Also, they did have to make sure the victim was okay and able to get home.

I think that was partially the point of the scene when Haruka punched the barriers, to learn a bit about her strength. And the arm here is exactly the type of thing that she was worried about when she mentioned being "human like everyone else".
