Great chapter. They gave a lot of depth to the subject of whether printing matters any more, I could tell probably the mangaka had been thinking about it with their own work too. And yet it was resolved in such a poetic, beautiful, definitive way. That's a real feat of storytelling, I think.

Lovely little series. Thanks for all your work on it. I was happy with how it managed to strike a good balance between episodic slice of life stuff and throwing in some bigger adventures and mysteries too.

I really like this characterization, I think this type of person is painfully common, someone who is skeptical of their own feelings, always assuming that other people are having "real" interior lives that they are incapable of. I think overall the takeaway we're supposed to get from this whole tournament is best said by the principal - Kiriyama still has his whole life ahead of him as a pro, he's just a kid, and yet he's also having these extraordinary victories. We're not supposed to think he's actually at the tippity...

Like Beastars, the ending went in a lot of crazy directions that will leave almost no one totally satisfied, but hopefully with also enough poetically poignant moments thrown in that some folks will be pleased. I'm surprised this was such a unilaterally happy ending, but I guess since it was a bit of a side story, it makes sense. Excited to get back to Mariko's journey! I think this may end up being the foundation of her next big story.

I'm glad that this chapter, which had such mean commentary from those assholes, and the women feeling so certain, went all the way to seeing the outfit suggestions and starting to get excited... it's a rare kindness from the author to not leave us on a cliffhanger or moment of unhappiness lol

Crazy chapter, the drama is spilling in so many directions at once. The scenes of the failing shops are so painful. It's honestly gonna be tough for a happy ending for this arc to feel legit and plausible, and not just an unrealistic miracle. But I have faith!!
