How this series is going to continue after this 1st arc is beyond me. It's like Bleach jumping to the Arrancar arc before even showing the first Minos.

That's about ~200 LN chapters down the line. Depending on how fast they speed through things, It's probably at least 50 chapters for the manga.

This series is going to be a slow burn, FYI. The manga is making some changes here and there, but it's following the LN fairly consistently. They are taking some liberties to try and up the humor for some reason though. Most of the LN early on, Grimm is basically solo also.

After the last arc, and now this, I can't keep reading this. Power creep and terrible villains has my eyes rolling too much.

MC is basically a death god now, and these guys think they can do something at this point? Either this is going to get super bland and powercreepy, or it's going to be hilarious when they literally summon him by accident.

And here is where the story gets really bullshit and dull in the most eye-rolling way possible. The whole arc is built around mechanics that are outright terribly written and utilized.

I wonder if the manga will end soon. There is only a bit more in Book 4, and Book 5 is something of a collection of side stories/ epilogue to the arc as a whole. ....Plus no Book 6 has come out yet, and it's been nearly ~6 years.
