What the fuck? This chapter is a mess.

So many manga try to do the 'gradually expand from a one-note concept that seems better suited to a one-shot or a series of shorts into something with continuity, depth and complexity' thing, but rarely have I seen it executed this deftly, starting from so little. This is impressive.

Wait. So what happened was that this was licenced by a company, so the scanlators dropped it...then the licencee failed to translate the last volumes, so the scanlators resumed it? That sucks. For those who know the light novel, what chapters correspond to the events of 48-52 in the manga?

Wow, the first appearance of Jack Hammer/Hanma looks super generic. I wonder if Itagaki planned it that way, to keep his audience in suspense, or if he simply didn't have his current 'look' in mind?

Eh. I didn't find that ending as unsatisfying as some of you seem to have.

Sure, and that degree of 'yay, country, rah-rah-rah' is normal and expected. But the way more or less every opposition politician, member of the media, or person associated with academia is consistently portrayed as a moron with no redeeming character traits has definitely started to wear on me.

Prediction: 'Falcon' will have Rihito's former schtick, but with his toes.

@mylastchance89 I mean, if I could *get* twice as many roughly Baki/Kohinata Minoru/All-Rounder Meguru/Kengan Asura-tier stories, with roughly the same visual quality but less originality, I'd take that in a heartbeat. I'm a genre addict: it's why I stuck with this when it got slow-paced.

Wow, those last two chapters were good. The main character pushed this guy's psychological buttons in a remarkably plausible way, one that was set up by everything that happened to the guy in his own focus chapters. This goes a long way towards redeeming the stuff that people have been...

Why is everyone bitching about the pacifist MC actually putting his money where his mouth is and finding a way of life that doesn't involve violence? You want fighting for the sake of fighting, read Baki the Grappler. I do! That sort of manga can be tons of its own particular kind of fun. But...

The Lesson of One-Punch Man: When the entire premise of your manga involves someone ridiculously strong who effortlessly facerolls all opposition, you kind of need to have extended stories featuring the supporting cast if you want to be something more than a brief, one-note one-shot.
