goddamn - too many missing chapters when its just about to get good very sad about this but as i cant translate myself i live with it - thank you for your work so far - please conciser putting in the missing chapters....
So it's up to chapter 160 right now? Does that mean it's not completely translated? I'm confused as to why Baki dou 2 is already translated but not this prequel? Can anybody help with some info?
does anyone know where i can get the raws of this (i don't know russian)? if so i can do rough translations of the remaining translations while we wait for the teams who are actually good to do it ie: the spiny back team
Wait what...is this an out of season april fool's?
edit:
I can only imagine that the author, being the _extreme_ pro-japanese culture person he is(see how he re-writes WWII to not be a defeat for Japan as just one example), couldn't bear to have Musashi beaten, but obviously he couldn't allow Baki to be beaten. So, interference, the psychic woman kills him because reasons blah blah murders him but we must also show extreme respect to him (by interfering in an honorable bout and ambushing him to suck out his soul...)
Eh. I didn't find that ending as unsatisfying as some of you seem to have.
Page 13 of Chapter 191 clearly meets the definition of 'defeat' this story arc has been working with- Motobe's, that 'the man who first holds his opponent's life in their hands, and may choose whether they live or die, is the winner.' The chapter title even spells it out for you. All that occurs afterward is a mop-up following Musashi's clear and unambiguous defeat: Musashi even implicitly recognizes it on p. 18 with "...to find myself reduced to hearing humble deference... [...from the victor.]"
