I think they meant ex-former-saintess, as in, she's a Saintess again since she can see the spirits again. Though technically she's been a Saintess the whole time judging by her other apparent abilities, she just couldn't see spirits.

That is so weird. You can feel the missing story. Did everyone share the same bad copy of the RAW, or did the publisher just do a shit job on this one chapter? There's even way less pages than the average of other chapters.

There are definitely pages missing. I recognize the scenes from the WN, and there's definitely missing context.
