You know, I was about to post something similar to this myself. "I'm a 30 year old man turned into a magical girl" is the title of the manga, but the past dozen chapters are "some cute girls do cute things." Wasting a valuable setting and the first dozen chapters like this is disappointing.

The problem with this theory is that you're suggesting the translator wasn't given the title of the manga (Madan no Ichi) and was just given a plot synopsis. Would you like to explain how they mistranslated a title they never saw? I'd like to offer a counter-theory that resolves that dilemma...
