Nah, it just doesn't have a set update schedule and the author kinda disappeared for a while. You guys won't actually have to suffer that wait though, there have been 3 new chapters since with an average of 2 months between each.

I think she has both Eri and Maina figured out, and their relationship sort of irritates her -- particularly Eri's part in it. Both because she's the one Rena spends significantly more time with and has more insight into, but I reckon value disparity also plays a role. She's not steeped in idol...

I think you might be overthinking it? It's just Eripiyo drifting off into dreams/daydreams while working, with some vague implication they're not 100% dreams (Maina and Aya convo).

How the tables have turned since the oshi switch days. Eri has some catching up to do, including with her own feelings. Though sometimes I wonder whether we're just not privy to her internal monologue the way we are to Maina's. Would explain the heavy hitters consistently come from her side...

There's no way to know for sure, no, but based on the story's progression thus far along with the author's track record, it's very unlikely they'll ever have a relationship beyond "idol and fan". Best take it for what it is right now and not expect anything deeper.

I don't think it's necessarily that deep. Sometimes you just don't care about the other members of a group, or at least nowhere near as much. It's not like it's limited to idols. I'm infinitely more motivated when working on chapters that focus on Maina, too :meguu: Besides, in this case they...
