it's actually Andrich, seems to be the convention for transliterating the German "ich", since it's closer to an h sound. Look up the wikipedia page for Friedrich Nietzsche in japanese. You'll see his name transliterated as フリードリヒ (furiidorihi)
Don't see why they can't just tell them that's Merlin. I'd think just mentioning he drank one of Cersei's potions would be enough for people to understand
The series continued as Shin Elf-san wa Yaserarenai, after the whole debacle with ComicGum apparently. The same guys are still translating the series, so I don't think there's any more chapters under the old name,
I like the artstyle in this much better than the original. It honestly looks like they keep copying and pasting Matthias face from one panel to the next.
