Then he probably should be asking the supposed victim, rather than the supposed power-abusing superior, no?
And probably should be doing it in private, rather than in public to boot.
No matter how you slice it, he's in the wrong.
The fact that you see someone jokingly saying "axed" as any of the above is rather concerning. I would suggest counseling.
At this point I think it might be you who has a problem here.
It's equal parts enjoyable and frustrating. Girl has it in the bag, KNOWS she has in in the bag, but refuses to actually claim her prize for absolutely no good reason at all.
After the first chapter I got the impression it was written by an incel. Now I'm convinced of it. It's either that, or the author is trying really hard to convey incel way of thinking, in which case he's doing a great job of it.
Expected something to stop it at the last moment, as is so very typical in this kind of series. Have to admit, bold choice on the part of the author... Unless later he goes like "SYKE, nothing happened!". Then I will just drop the series.
I very much agree. FMC has it in the bag, and she already knows about it too. There's literally 0 reason for her to not confess first and secure her prize.
I think his reaction was way too much given the level of exposure. Unless you read waaay too much into it and realize that he's probably hella pent up all the time, as he as no "alone time" because of the siblings...
There's a thousand ways such an "exploit" could be curtailed, simplest being mana cost associated with using appraisal.
You can even see it in this chapter, he completely drained his mana to 0 by using appraisal once, and translation twice.
