Is there such a genre as anti-iyashikei? Like, take that same slightly dreamlike tone and weird disconnect with reality following events that don't really seem to be happening and probably wouldn't matter if they were... except instead of Healing, it's just Hurting?

It's so interesting... but it's so horrible... but it's so interesting. I'll tell you this, I've never read a manga and wanted the villains to win more badly than in this one.

It's one joke repeated every chapter; but it's a good enough joke. One of the few manga I'd probably recommend everybody to check out but nobody to finish.

You know how very rarely you get a manga that has a good concept, handles itself well, develops its characters interestingly; and all builds to a nice crescendo that ties up the plot neatly? You know how even more rarely some of those decline to actually do the conclusion after the big climax...

I think I was like halfway through when I realized 'Wait a minute, this is just Goth My Hero Academia! ...Except better.'
