@bingy DDG cache is screwing up, nothing we can do about it. You're not logged in, you're just being served a cached page intended for another user from before the webserver restarted.

As long as mangadex isn't running ads and whatnot a huge amount of visitors is actually a demerit since they won't be able to profit from those visitors yet said people are still a drain on the servers. It's not like I particularity hate that series or something it just sucks that every new chapter wrecks this site and makes the thousands of other manga inaccessible. Growth isn't always a good thing.

Just goes to show the amount of stress and work it is maintaining server load and bandwidth. Especially when some of us have been through, when things are bad we turn to escapism and luckily manga and gaming are 2 of them I indulge in. Manga is the perfect escapism from the stressful world we live in. Personally I'd like to donate because its times like these goes to show how lucky we are to have a hobby in manga where as some unlucky people like going to cinemas, pubs or gyms etc. My issue is, I DONT do bitcoins nor do I intend to dive into it.

But y'know, if theres another way, point my towards it. I doubt il be back on this forum but if someone could mesage me to direct, I'll donate

Uh I have to put this out there too. When I logged into my other device right now. I was logged into @Predalienator profile.

And @Halo thank you for clarifying this. I do have a habit opening a dozen tabs on the Latest Updates to add more manga.

But I never refresh all the tabs at once.

At worst I try to bookmark some mangas but it doesn't add it. So sometimes I do refresh it. But never ever all tabs at once.

If I continue to do this will I get temp banned? And I understand maybe me doing this is harming the site. Let me know and I'll change how I add new mangas.

It's a weird cache issue from DDG. It updates as soon as you perform any action on site. You are not actually on their account.

Tachi can just adjust their fetch rates to within the new limit and you are good to go, so long as you update.

@calmbreez Nah, don't worry about it. You have to try really hard to get banned as a user.
This warning is more towards people who make mobile apps and downloaders.
Or people who try to load a dozen of chapters at once in different tabs.

How about this as an alternative: users who have donated and are logged in do not get ads, those who have not donated get them. (If absolutely necessary)

Also idk if anyone's had this same issue, but I was logged in as another user when I opened the site. Some guy named @Richman. Weirdest part was that my browser suddenly opened 43 new tabs when it happened.
