Splendid short story. Why does weird seinen story writers write even weirder stories when they're writing shorts/one shots is a question I sometimes ask myself...

Urgh, went celibate from reading manga to binge read after a year, to find out this one got axed -__-. I was already reading the LN, but was looking forward to look at the art coming alive. Oh well, back to LN it is then.

While the semi-open ending with such happy tone isn't that terrible, it doesn't really mesh with the excellent, off-the-rail shitshow rollercoaster ride that this manga has been giving true fans through its lifetime. Still 10/10 because this manga is full of nutjobs, the ending doesn't matter much.

Ending's a bit rushed, but it's ok. Quite surprised with the happy tone in this semi-open ending though, was expecting Prison School-tier ending just to watch all the 'fans' writhe in pain. It was an excellent, wild shitshow while it lasted.

That's an exceedingly ordinary, mundane reveal. Very fitting for this manga. And now I'm afraid that the end is nigh....

Hm, too bad it's dropped - this sits on the right side of "so bad it's funny". Sometimes something can be very bad and not fun, usually because it tries so hard to be taken seriously - a good example of this in my opinion is The Hunter (also in Mangadex). Oh well, I guess I won't be missing this...
