Dunno accomplices are often just liabilities, especially an accomplice that is so emotionally driven and likely unstable. Seems like he would end up being the opposite of useful.

Well, think about it, they are in opposition to NIN and that place is often occupied by at least one low ranking genin(?) at any given time. The vending machines are probably surveillance. Or it has to do with why the non-NIN residents of that building are so weird.

Was it really that he was being intentionally abusive? I may be fuzzy on his backstory, but this felt more like him pushing his own internalized self-hatred onto her. Misery loves company and all that, you knos.

I love this manga. It's hard to go back to modern girl power stories after reading a story full of so many traditional and feminine, but intensely strong and persevering women. I aspire to be as strong and feminine as women of days gone by.

I dunno about general perception, but I see imitation crab as fake and ultra processed food, something that's cheap and bad for you. Definitely not fancy or luxurious in any way.

A lot of the fun cooking instructionals are lost on me because I have a clam intolerance 😣 What's even worse is that I love clams! And this manga sure is making me crave them 🤤😔

What a wonderful death. Much better than dying cooped up in a hospital room. I bet that's exactly why he died. He finally was able to totally relax and his spirit was comfortable enough to move on.

Maybe it's about time to read this again. Not sure why, but I love this manga with all my heart. It is perfection for me. The only manga I've read more than once, and probably 5 times or more, at that.

Can someone explain to me why they needed to use her as a fake in the first place? Maybe I'm just a silly jelly brain and I missed it, but there doesn't seem to be any explanation as to why they couldn't just use the living Veronica in the first place, rather than making some random girl suffer...

This artist has improved a lot. Kudos to the artist.

This comic is very average. It isn't necessarily bad, but it's not something to write home about either. The story is a bit tepid and contrived, kind of boring. It's not really something that drew me in and kept my interest. It seems a bit like the author was copycatting any historical k-drama...
