Sleepeeer Hit! The manga focuses on the multiple branches of creating manga, and not just the creators. The editors, salesmen, advertisers, plate-makers, printers, distributors, and booksellers are all integral pieces to make a hit.

Dino Sanctuary. Only two chapters on MD. But up-2-date elsewhere.
Slice of life, drama, humors and education about dinosaurs.

I was checking and there are some suggestions.
Daily life and hobbys:
Yuru Camp (cooking plus camping)
Super Cub (biking maintenance and upgrading).
Take Responsability for my Stomach! (cooking for dieting).
Do It Yourself! (auto-explainative).
General science/technology: Stardust Telepath (rocket making).
Varied, with historical context: 16bit Sensation (videogame making and releases in the 90s).
And also, the "Manga de Wakaru ..." series: How to Draw a (Slightly) Sexy Girl (not from the official series but drawing techniques).

I think it might be good to add a category, something like "Art/The Arts"? with subcategories of visual art (painting, manga, photography, sculpture), sewing, writing, music, and cosplay (I separate them b/c a lot more goes into the cosplay than sewing the garment) ?

For this list, off the top of my head I could recommend Blue Period (teaches about many mediums of art) and Gaikotsu Shotenin Honda-san (teaches a little about making manga, selling manga, and working in a Japanese bookstore from the perspective of a mangaka working in a Japanese bookstore)

Misoshiru de Kanpai!
Is great if you want to learn about Miso making! Also gives run downs of some soup making basics in general that are just good to know iirc
Actual cookbooks in JP are 100% informative & use manga characters as emoji in footnotes.
