For the credit page issue, that'd be easily solved by having them marked as credit pages and the completion of said chapter ignores anything marked "credit page"

It's not done in the search screen, it's done in the settings screen (the gear next to the your username/login button), select your language in the "Filter Chapter Languages" and bobs your uncle.

Honestly to me, "edge" is when it feels pointless, hashed on, or for obvious shock value, grimdark feels like it serves a purpose and is serious in its intent and doesn't rely on blatant edge-service to achieve it

Mine failed to load a whole bunch of pages, but then I realised my laptops network adapter crashed again, can't say I've noticed any significant lag but some pages have been slower then usual (1-2 seconds longer then average I'd say) but any testimony from me has to be taken with a grain of salt...
