It was an enjoyable and wholesome ride, and we don’t get a lot of those. I’m not really an anime person, but I’ll be curious to see how the adaptation turns out.

Maybe not the most satisfying ending but I did enjoy the bumpy ride Through all these years. Maybe I’m just sentimental, but I’m glad everyone in the story got a happy ending.

With the huge number of characters, it’s bonkers how good Mochi is at maintaining such a high level of continuity over so many chapters. Even seemingly obscure side characters get their moment in the sun and it’s always meaningful to the story. No one gets left behind in this manga!

Are we going to get a full time antagonist character to spice things up? Maybe it’s Shiori’s old classmate from mermaid school.

Dang, I thought I was reading a serious drama manga this chapter. Always love how the secondary and side characters get so much love and their own chance to shine. Hope the author or artist can get healthy soon so the next chapter arrives on time!

Sou’s mom cracks me up every chapte. She so desperate to head off the inevitable but I think she knows fate can’t be stopped. Ive also been liking Mikoto. Pretty sure we all know what’s going to happen, but I hope she gets a happy ending too.

How many of us were disappointed that big sis didn’t get in on the fun, too? Ah well, that aside, it was a fun and enjoyable ride. Felt like the author got the opportunity to explore what they liked and never held back. Some very memorable scenes for sure.

I liked the first ASMR extra more. This one was nice, but the black bars were disappointing.

All good things… I’ll miss this manga immensely, but this ending was alright. I guess it’s better to end it on a safe note than to push it too far at the last second. Unless there’s a final time skip chapter, it’ll be left to our imagination as to what happens in the future.
