I think people are missing this particular thing about Yuki because we're not shown why she is this way. As an example, for Miyamura, there's quite a bit of exposition and flashbacks explaining his standoffishness. There's not enough exploration of the background of Yuki's character.

In her right hand she's holding cooking chopsticks (like regular chopsticks, but bigger). In her left hand she's holding a bottle of something. Since she's cooking, it's probably seasoning or sauce.

It seems to be relatively common in manga/anime. The main character of "I Have a Crush at Work / Can You Keep a Secret?" also got matching rings for his girlfriend and himself. That's the only one I know, so now I have a sample size of two.
