@Sharpedgs Not all Chinese sci-fi are focused on nationalism. There is a great Chinese novel called the Three Body Problem and it's quite critical on nationalism really. The series was translated recently and I recommend you give it a try.

I dont get mc motivations. A group of guys decides to back off after realizing her strength only for her to come back and murder the lot? Revenge? This is the character the author wants us to associate with? These first 6 chapters are half baked af.

@Saronite It's kinda hard to explain. In military if a recruit is acting like an asshole, he might get a "talk" with the squad. If the recruit has a few bruises the next day, well, "I wonder what happened?", and the head honcho will just let it go. Multiply that by a 100, put it in a school...
