@stonefinger because this writer doesn't know how to properly form a story. Just look at how many chapters they spent on flashbacks that werent even about the main characters.

@Fostrrrr ok yeah i remembered that wrong, i still dont feel like that initial break (pre-break?) Was earned. I dont know, generally if all i can do is laugh at a characters mental break because of how sudden it is, then i dont think its well written.

@kyrex why is he complicit? How was he supposed to convince the town to end a beloved tradition without working within the system?

@Seprious the timing made no sense though. It should have happened when when he killed the tunnel guy. The trauma of taking a life would be good justification for this type of turn.

@Enny2209 yeah I want to go back and grow up where ever you did cause it was not like that AT ALL in my schools. People were bullied horribly for often no reason other than being different somehow. I think your experience is the exception rather than the rule.
