This is how I think it will end: the final chapter will take place in the future, with Croc, now an old man, looking at these photos: and remembering his youth, and the happy life he had one last time before he dies peacefully in his bed. Either that or Truck-kun will kill him. We'll see.

I like the direction this manga took. Takagi still teases him a little, but now their relationship seems more mature and sincere. Also, this chapter really puts into perspective how much Nishikata has grown.

@Moodyz the anime is a fantastic adaptation. I think they managed to capture the comfiness of the manga perfectly. If you like Flying Witch or Iyashikei shows in general, you're going to enjoy the adaptation. It sucks that we never got a second season. I really miss waking up on Sunday mornings...
