    Mieruko-chan - Ch. 63

Do the Japanese mythology nerds know anything about six-legged dogs? Is there some cultural context missing here, or is it just a random monster? It feels very different from the normal monsters portrayed in this series.

    Sentai Daishikkaku - Ch. 166 - Shinya Kiritani, Age 28, Part 4

This manga has shown an unhealthy relationship with media from the perspective of fans (insane obsession and literal fanaticism), and from the perspective of actors (the incredible narcissism), and it's interesting to see it from the perspective of a writer, the creator. Stories can do us a lot...

    Iken Senki Völundio - Vol. 8 Ch. 55 - A Familiar Scene

Where would I look to find a good fan tl for the missing stuff?

Touge Oni - Vol. 7 Ch. 28 - Big Brawl

You're exactly right, I'm glad you pointed that out. I thought it was just a strange Eldritch shape, a reminder of what these beings truly are past their human facade. But there is much richer symbolism in it than I realized. Thanks.

Reincarnation of the Veteran Soldier - Vol. 2 Ch. 131

    This series is so underrated.

Far East Chimera - Ch. 34 - The Silhouette of Life

The author has been very hesitant to kill characters and has faked us out before. I won't believe it until it's been a few chapters and she's still dead.

    Isekai Samurai - Ch. 24

Ginko has more cheerful enthusiasm. Homie clearly enjoys winning, but Ginko enjoys the fight itself, win or lose.

Tsugihagi Darake no Saikyou Yuusha - Vol. 2 Ch. 13

I also suspect demonic involvement on some level. The author took pains to make it clear that every attempt at resurrecting humans has failed. So perhaps Edmund is part demon, or was host to a demon, and that is why he could be reanimated. Or Hecate borrowed the power of a demon to make it happen.

Tsugihagi Darake no Saikyou Yuusha - Vol. 2 Ch. 13

The names of all the protagonists are already horrible red flags tbh. See my above post. TL;DR, they're all names from Shakespeare. Ophelia had a terrible fate, and Edmund and Hecate were both awful people.

Tsugihagi Darake no Saikyou Yuusha - Vol. 2 Ch. 13

Homie is finally asking the real questions. I'm noticing a lot of names from Shakespeare's corpus. Ophelia is one of Hamlet's potential wives whose ultimately driven mad by his heinous actions. Edmund is the antagonist in King Lear, a womanizer and murderer. Hecate is the leader of the witches...

Namaiki na Gal Ane wo Wakaraseru Hanashi - Vol. 1 Ch. 2 - 「SLUT」

I was very curious where this story was gonna go. I presumed that we would ultimately see that she was being victimized by peer pressure, and that her stepbrother would end up helping her out of her situation. But man, that got much darker much faster than I expected.

Blue Skin, Big Tits and a Fucking Loner - Vol. 3 Ch. 18.5 - Short Break Announcement

Perhaps the fact that it's color, plus the fact that it was done while being horribly overworked, and the fact that it's been years all together make it difficult to come back to. It's a bunch of work, associated with stressful memories, that he feels disconnected from now. I struggled to work...

    Shinozaki-kun no Mente Jijou - Vol. 9 Ch. 35

Grey is truly the cutest eldritch creature.
