This series is so underrated.

The author has been very hesitant to kill characters and has faked us out before. I won't believe it until it's been a few chapters and she's still dead.

Ginko has more cheerful enthusiasm. Homie clearly enjoys winning, but Ginko enjoys the fight itself, win or lose.

I also suspect demonic involvement on some level. The author took pains to make it clear that every attempt at resurrecting humans has failed. So perhaps Edmund is part demon, or was host to a demon, and that is why he could be reanimated. Or Hecate borrowed the power of a demon to make it happen.

The names of all the protagonists are already horrible red flags tbh. See my above post. TL;DR, they're all names from Shakespeare. Ophelia had a terrible fate, and Edmund and Hecate were both awful people.

I was very curious where this story was gonna go. I presumed that we would ultimately see that she was being victimized by peer pressure, and that her stepbrother would end up helping her out of her situation. But man, that got much darker much faster than I expected.

Perhaps the fact that it's color, plus the fact that it was done while being horribly overworked, and the fact that it's been years all together make it difficult to come back to. It's a bunch of work, associated with stressful memories, that he feels disconnected from now. I struggled to work...
