Calling this "Far-fetched" is speaking gibberish at this point; this was a series that abandoned "logic" long ago. Though it makes sense the more you think about it. It explains the origins of Mana and God Jr, and how they came to be, how the events started, and where the childish ideas of the games came from. Though we could've already assumed that last part.

The fact that they're just humans from the future that are used an alien's species infinite energy loop recreate multiple Earths from multiple time periods is... well tame, by this series' standards.

Also, they spent over 400 million years there for the curious; ran it through a calculator.

These prequel chapters explained Anam (Mana)'s origin, but I'm more interested in that boy Mamoru, her last Earth companion in that alien planet. So would he become a God in his own artificial earth, or live a normal life, grow and die in that world?

Anyway, I think this was a perfect closure to the main story arc. There was not much remaining plot to expand the story upon, and since the author is busy with his new successful sport manga, unlikely he will return to create a new As The Gods Will manga series any time soon.
