Be careful for signing up before knowing all of the details.

Likely this includes weekends as well as PTO. You may notice that 52 x 2 > 100 so they only get only 1 day off on the weekend.

It would appear that a Japanese worker is supposed to get a minimum of 78 days off each year (10 PTO, 52 Sundays, and 16 National Holidays). 100 would be 22 over the minimum (not the 26 over needed to also be getting Saturday off).

You are not obligated to work any of the legal holidays and you should get paid more if you do, but you know...

According to this page a Japanese worker gets the following:

• 10 days legal minimum PTO
• 0 PAID sick leave
• Legal Holidays:
  • Sunday
  • National Holidays (16)
  • Observed Holidays (I searched and couldn't find what this meant)
• Company Discretion on Regular Holidays:
  • Saturday
  • Day before and after National Holidays
  • Company-specific celebrations
